People
UT’s aspiration to become the world’s highest-impact public research university will be driven by our outstanding people. We’ll serve more students and learners, covering some of their financial need and relentlessly pursue and retain outstanding students, faculty, and staff. Our goal is to make UT the premier place to work, study and grow.
Place
As Texas’ flagship university, UT is central to innovation, talent development, scholarship, and the arts. We’ll partner with health care organizations to scale and innovate health research, education, and delivery and create next-generation university learning environments that inspire, advance our mission, and promote sustainability. We’ll also join with policymakers and communities to address social and economic trends and establish Austin as the next major hub for life sciences, technology and innovation.
Pursuits
UT is committed to changing the world through three major pursuits: transformative experiences, education and research. We’ll deliver exceptional experiences for students, staff, faculty and alumni through holistic support and high quality operations. Our education will be transformed through new degrees, interdisciplinary options, and more. And we’ll lead the world in three core research areas: Energy and Environment, Technology and Society, and Health and Well-Being.
